For the purposes of CKAHSAC, clinical and practice governance includes the governance of safe quality services for clients accessing all services regardless of their location: CKAHSAC health centres, at designated outreach locations, in client’s homes or residential care facilities, and during transport.
QUALITY AND SAFETY
CKAHSAC supports accreditation and certification processes with reputable recognition accreditation authorities. These authorities visit our sites and formally undertake assessments to determine that we satisfy a wide range of recognised quality, education and safety standards.
At CKAHSAC, we take quality and safety seriously and are committed to our Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) journey. For CKAHSAC, CQI is simply a process to help us achieve improvements in the quality of the services we provide.
CKAHSAC recognises that risk management is central to its governance, management and service delivery functions; linked to overall performance of the organisation; and contributes to the achievement of the organisation’s objectives.
